  What is Pilates?

Pilates is a gentle yet challenging form of body conditioning that strengthens and stretches the muscles, corrects common muscle imbalances, builds strength without adding bulk, and restores proper body alignment that improves natural movement. Your body will become longer, leaner, and more toned

  What are the benefits of Pilates?

Originally designed by Joe Pilates to rehabilitate patients and later to assist injured dancers back to health, this popular fitness discipline focuses on strengthening the core muscles of the body.

Some of the benefits of Pilates are:

- Enhanced alignment, coordination, and balance

Don’t eat for about one or two hours before class. But make sure to drink plenty of water before, during and after class.

Pilates is for everyone! Our experienced instructors are trained to work with people of all ages, different fitness levels, and varied physical abilities. If you are a professional athlete or dancer, a senior citizen, a body builder, or a fitness enthusiast, Pilates is perfectly suited for you!

Pilates classes and workshops are offered at REZA Fitness Resort. Come join Maria and Jordan for the best mat or equipment Pilates classes. Reza will provide guidance helping you to choose which form of Pilates is best suited for you. You can also check the class schedule for convenient times.

REZA is the perfect home for the beginner or advanced alike.

As always, REZA will provide amenities such as mats, blankets, blocks, straps and sandbags, water and towels free of charge.

Do let your teacher know about injuries or conditions that might affect your performance.

REZA's Spinning Philosophy

If you have ever taken a spin class from Reza, you have probably heard him say; Spinning cures everything. Reza truly means that.

Since early 2001 Reza has been changing the lives of people with this simple approach.

Beginner and advanced alike can make spinning a regular part of their fitness routine. And if your time is very limited and you can only exercise a couple of hours a week, then Spinning will give you all the Cardio and fat-burning work-out you'll need, according to Reza.

It is no wonder so many people get addicted to Spinning. Once you have experienced the RUSH you get from a great spin class, you'll have a hard time settling for anything else.

Reza takes teaching seriously. It is his passion. His goal is to challenge you in a way no one has before. Reza believes that there is an athlete somewhere inside you and he is determined to help you find that hidden beast inside.

With Reza's direction and motivation you are sure to find more power, more drive, and more mental toughness than you ever thought you could.

Reza offers group classes for people of every fitness level.

He also accepts on a case by case basis private clients. If you are a professional athlete and you need to do specific heart-zone training, increase your cardiorespiratory fitness level, increase leg power and endurance, then please contact Reza by email for an appointment.
